Well then, Let's give this a go:

What is your Meyers Briggs personality type?
I don't believe in that system, or in most of modern psychology for that matter.

What are some of your primary hobbies?

Reading (in almost any subject), painting (watercolour), drawing, architecture, gaming (Call of Cthulhu being my favourite), ritual, writing, plotting.

What are your main areas of intellectual interest, i.e. what do you like reading about ?

Art, history, anthropology, occultism, Magick, architecture, religion, mythology.

What types or genres of music do you enjoy most? Who are some of your favorite artists and bands? What are your favorite musical instruments, if any?

Mostly I listen to Progressive Rock, my favorite band being Yes. I have a weakness for concept albums and anything with a sitar. I also enjoy world music and have been exploring neo-folk for the last few years. In terms of Classical music, I prefer Baroque and earlier—I cannot stand Beethoven. In terms of instruments, aside from the aforementioned sitar, I am also fond of hurry-gurdy, kantele, cymbalom, and organ. I vastly prefer harpsichord over piano. I used to play cello in school.

What are some of your favorite films?

Being an old fan of Marvel comics I am naturally enthused by the new Marvel movies. I am really looking forward to the Doctor Strange movie as he is my favorite character. Aside from that, I like classic horror movies from the old Universal monster films to Hammer and of course Vincent Price. Outside of that, my favorites include The Wicker Man (which I do not personally consider a 'horror' movie), Prospero's Books, Master and Commander, Enter the Dragon, and A Midsummer Night's Dream (the 1969 RSC film).

Do you play video games or did you as a child? If so, what were your favorites?

We didn't have such things at home while I was growing up.

What is your ethnic background and what is your sub-race if you know it?

English, with helpings of Welsh, Scots, French, Dutch, and Viking.

Outside of your own ethnic group, what other European ethnic groups do you most admire? Non-European ethnic groups?

Outside of my own ancestry, I greatly admire the Balinese, both for their high degree of civilisation and for their ability to maintain their own identity.

What is your favorite period in history? What past civilizations fascinate you most?

Probably the Napoleonic through the Victorian Eras. I am also very interested in the Minoan civilisation and of course the Proto-Indo-European culture.

What type of weather do you enjoy the most? What type of natural environment are you attracted to (mountains, deserts, prairies, etc.)? What is your favorite season of the year?

I love forests, especially the Eastern Woodlands and European Woodlands. It is important for me to be in the hills. My favourite seasons are Winter and Autumn and I prefer rainy or at least overcast days. Conversely, I dislike pretty much all the lands out West; even the forests out there seem somehow 'wrong' to me. Sunny days tend to give me headaches and I have great trouble in the summer heat.

What are some things or types of people or behavior that you least like? What irritates you?

    I truly dislike 'business' types.

In high school Yes was, along with Tool and some of Frank Zappa's material, also my favorite band. I rarely listen these days, but sometimes go back and listen to And You and I or the "Soon" portion of Gates of Delirium. Hearing them brought up brings back fond memories of my buddies and I hanging out and listening to Yes, especially how well A Mood for a Day (probably one of the funner pieces I learned to play on the guitar before I lost interest) goes with cruising with windows down on a warm summer day.

What are some of your primary hobbies?
    I like to read.

What are your main areas of intellectual interest, i.e. what do you like reading about ?
I separate what I read in to 8 categories; Philosophic, Pagan, Classical, Recreational, Historical, Political, Visual and Musical. Philosophy and with that political Philosophy holds precedence, then comes pre-Christian literature, which includes Classical literature; not leaving out History. Lastly comes Christian and later verse, novels, biographies, autobiographies etc., books on visual art and music. Current philosophic interests include the presocratics, Plato and Aristotle and as I have mentioned in another thread I am planning on expanding this. Over Nine Waves, the Odyssey and Metamorphoses are also of interest, although I plan on reading more about the Sino-Japanese tradition in Kojiki and Chinese myths and fantasies, as well as the Mabinogion for something closer to home. I have read a few history books from East and West and someday will expand that further with emphasis on Celto-Germanic, Graeco-Roman and Sino-Japanese histories [Perhaps something like the equivalent for each land of Tacitus' Germania]. My favourite poet is William Butler Yeats, as can be attested in other threads. I have to say I am taken by modern novelists such as Joyce and enjoy reading biographies of him and others. I enjoyed reading a translation of Baudelaire's Selected Writings on Art and Literature.

    What is your ethnic background?
    Irish.

Outside of your own ethnic group, what other European ethnic groups do you most admire? Non-European ethnic groups?
    Germans, Ancient Greeks and Japanese.

What is your favorite period in history?
    Ireland in pre-Christian times.

What are some things or types of people or behavior that you least like?
People who act condescendingly despite knowing little, I guess.

What is your Meyers Briggs personality type?

This has changed over time (and also depending upon the specific test I take). I used to get INTP mostly, but then I used to get INFP about half of the time. I think that is because I always scored fairly close to 50% mark on the F/T spectrum Obviously I think this exposes the fatal flaw in this personality test as it turns thinking and feeling into a binary, which isn't necessarily the case. I've never been a classic INTP, but I'm certainly nothing like a INFP. Anyway, recently, since taking to the Traditional path, I am now more often than not a INFJ, although I still get INTP occasionally (depending on the test). Whatever, changing my metaphysical belief system has certainly transformed my personality.

What are some of your primary hobbies?

Reading, photography, walking, cycling... This year I intend to starting to learn a new skill... I'm thinking leather work.

What are your main areas of intellectual interest, i.e. what do you like reading about ?

This isn't going to be too surprising... Tradition, philosophy, a little politics, ghost stories, history...

What types or genres of music do you enjoy most? Who are some of your favorite artists and bands? What are your favorite musical instruments, if any?

I don't play anything, although I've dabbled with a few attempts at playing instruments in my misspent youth. I used to like lots of nihilistic genres, from break beat to punk, etc... These days I prefer classical, (some) neofolk, some metal, some indie, ambient, soundtracks... It's weird, music used to rule my life, but today it's a minor concern.

What are some of your favorite films?

Don't Look Now is probably my favourite film, but I love a lot of films from the silent era onward, although I'm not a huge fan of many contemporary films. I actually enjoyed two films at the cinema this year: Blade Runner 2049 and Dunkirk. I guess my favourite directors are Hitchcock (although I find his underlying nihilism a little unpleasant these days), David Lynch and Werner Herzog.

Do you play video games or did you as a child? If so, what were your favorites?

I used to a bit but I was never a "gamer." I'm not a fan at all these days. In fact I think they're insidiously evil, mostly.

Who are some figures or people you look up to, either historical or contemporary? Who are your heroes and those who shaped your world-view?

    Heroes?

    Historically: Alfred the Great.

"Therefore I was desirous of materials wherewith to exercise the power, that my talents and fame should not be forgotten, and concealed. For every craft and every power soon becomes old, and is passed over in silence, if it be without wisdom; for no man can accomplish any craft, without wisdom. Because whatsoever is done through folly, no one can ever reckon for craft. This is now especially to be said; that I wished to live honourably whilst I lived, and after my life to leave to the men who were after me, my memory in good works."

Contemporary: I'm not sure if I can think of any "heroes" off the top of my head... I'll come back to this There's people I admire tho, like Roger Scrutton, David Lynch, etc...

Look up to? Too many to list really.

What is your ethnic background and what is your sub-race if you know it?

I'm an Anglo-Saxon... I have some Channel Island ancestry, so there could be some Norman or French in the mix. I'm not had my DNA analysed tho, but would like to one day just to see how black I really am!

Outside of your own ethnic group, what other European ethnic groups do you most admire? Non-European ethnic groups?

I don't think about it a great deal. I love all my European brothers and sisters, and I admire all ethnicities to some extent, except Negros who really seem vile to me. I don't believe they're human or not entirely human.

What is your favorite period in history? What past civilizations fascinate you most?

A lot! But I guess it's Saxon Britain that has the biggest pull. The Crusades too.

What type of weather do you enjoy the most? What type of natural environment are you attracted to (mountains, deserts, prairies, etc.)? What is your favorite season of the year?

I like anywhere that has a proper four seasons... I appreciate all the seasons, even Summer, except when the humidity builds up too much. In England that means July and August are not my favourite months. I love woodlands and forests, but also mountains and coasts.

What are some things or types of people or behaviour that you least like? What irritates you?

Nihilism, hedonism, degeneracy, entitlement, overt rationality. Any left wing or liberal views.
